Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Global Studies; Bachelor of Science (Honours); Master of Public Health

Alongside working as a Research Assistant at Impact Global Health, Tiana is a public servant at the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Prior to this, she worked in tuberculosis control at Timor Leste-based NGO Maluk Timor and in infectious disease epidemiology at NSW Health.

She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, a double Bachelor of Science and Global Studies from Monash University and an Honours degree in health geography from the University of Melbourne. She is currently working towards a postgraduate diploma in ecology at the University of Oxford.

Tiana’s goal is to apply her interdisciplinary knowledge in public health, environmental sciences, and social sciences to assess drivers of diarrheal disease and generate nature-based solutions.
