Maisie is a Master of Public Health student at the University of Sydney with a strong interest in ensuring equitable access to innovations emerging from R&D. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology (Immunology and Pathogenesis) from the University of California, Berkeley, where she built a rigorous scientific foundation in molecular mechanisms of disease and immune system function, while also competing on the NCAA Division 1 collegiate Track and Field team.

Her professional experience spans both academic research and biotech environments, giving her a unique perspective on how early stage scientific discovery can underpin transformation of the global health sector. Alongside her scientific training, Maisie has cultivated a commitment to health equity through volunteer work at RotaCare Bay Area, where she contributed to increasing access to healthcare for underserved and uninsured communities.

Maisie aspires to apply her experience in molecular biology and passion for public health to have a real-world impact by driving the advancement of R&D and expanding global access to innovative technologies.
