Bachelor of Pharmacy; Master of Public Health in Epidemiology (in progress)
Lilian Ngaruiya is a Research Assistant for the G-FINDER project at Impact Global Health, where she focuses on research and analysis regarding global health funding. A pharmacist by training, she has extensive experience in health systems strengthening, including workforce development for rural and hard-to-reach communities across 12 Sub-Saharan African countries through the Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network. Her expertise covers antimicrobial resistance (AMR), infection prevention and control (IPC), infectious diseases such as HIV, pharmaceutical supply chain optimization, and quality assurance.
She also possesses a strong background in regulatory affairs, including regulatory harmonization, policy analysis, pharmacovigilance, and governance from her time with the Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry. Additionally, she gained clinical experience through specialized rotations at Mbagathi Hospital and Kenyatta National Hospital.
Lilian holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, where she conducts analytical research using electronic health records.
