Trained in Microbiology and Immunology with a special focus on vaccine development for Hepatitis C, Ethel is an alumna of the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, University of Saskatchewan. She is a results-oriented program specialist with research experience and has actively contributed to public health initiatives through research, program implementation, and capacity strengthening. With expertise in vaccine development, pharmacovigilance, antimicrobial resistance and malaria, she has supported efforts that inform policy and strengthen health systems in sub-Saharan Africa. Ethel is passionate about research and using data to drive decisions that create positive outcomes for health.
