Emily's role at Impact Global Health involves modelling the health impacts of R&D investments across global health areas. Drawing on quantitative modelling skills and cost-effectiveness analysis, she is passionate about communicating the impact and value of global health projects especially in LMICs.
Emily brings a strong background in sexual and reproductive health, with a focus on contraception and abortion. Prior to joining Impact Global Health, she spent six years at MSI Reproductive Choices, where she applied mixed methods research approaches to improve the delivery of contraception and safe abortion services across 36 countries, primarily in Africa and Asia. Through this work, she built experience engaging with a diverse portfolio of funders and partners, including the Gates Foundation, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, FCDO and DFAT.
Emily holds a Masters in Social Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Demography from the University of Southampton.
