Louie is a strategic communications and media relations professional with over a decade’s experience working on health and social purpose campaigns both in the UK and globally. Louie has worked across government departments in the UK, a range of public relations and public affairs agencies as well as a number of leading charities mostly campaigning to shape government policy or change public behaviour.

Louie’s work in government included working for the Department of Health and Social Care and The Cabinet Office of the UK’s COVID-19 public health communications efforts, including the highly successful vaccine rollout. Across the global health and development sector, Louie has worked globally for the likes of Malaria No More UK, Search for Common Ground, Flyttr as well as a range of global pharmaceutical companies with a global health focus.

At Impact Global Health Louie works across a mix of project areas including pandemic preparedness, highlighting the ‘ripple effect’ benefits of global health investment to high-income countries, incentivising further private sector investment into global health and more. His interests include the changing shape of the global health landscape and how to incentivise continued support from policymakers around the world.
